Our investigation into studies has led us to become more knowledgeable about…

Fracture Reduction:

Studies of over a thousand elderly women found that drinking at least three cups daily was associated with a 30-42% lower risk of hip fractures.

Hormonal Support:

Bioactive compounds like theaflavins and catechins help balance the immune cells (Treg/Th17 cells) that regulate bone formation and resorption, mimicking some protective effects of estrogen.

Antioxidant Defense:

Flavonoids in black tea help maintain healthy blood vessels and lower "bad" LDL cholesterol, which is vital for heart health after the protective effects of estrogen decrease post-menopause.

Mental Sharpness:

Evidence suggests black tea may have a stronger protective effect on cognitive health for women than for men.

Cognitive Decline:

Longitudinal studies tracking women aged 65+ found that those drinking around three cups a day experienced the lowest rates of mental decline over an 8-year period.
